Sika purchased high pressure spray heads for three of the admixture plants, Chicago, Philadelphia and Dallas in 2013. Atlanta follows in 2014. This also required a redesign of the water system to limit the amount of water and the amount of time used for cleaning. Total cost for the 3 plants was $ 40K.
Savings of 225,000 gallons of water on an annualized basis at the three plants where the new cleaning process has been put in place (Chicago, Philadelphia and Dallas).
