  • Sikaflex® 1a

    Sikaflex 1a is a premium-grade, high-performance, moisture-cured, one-component polyurethane-based, non-sag elastomeric sealant used in certain Sika Sarnafil roofing or waterproofing system flashing details. Typical applications include wall, curb and drain terminations.  It is also used as a sealant at pipe penetrations and under certain metal flashings.

  • Sikaflex® 15 LM

    Low-modulus, high-performance, 1-component, polyurethane-based, non-sag elastomeric sealant.

     

    Use

    • Excellent for moving joints in vertical applications.
    • Suitable for use between similar as well as dissimilar materials.
    • Typical applications include joints in concrete panel and wall systems, around window and door frames, reglets, flashing, common roofing detail applications, etc.
    • Exceptional sealant choice for high-rise and facade applications where high movement capability is required.
    • An effective sealant for use in Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS).

    Disposable 10.1 fl. oz., moisture-proof composite cartridges, 24/case; and uni-pac sausages 20 fl. oz., 20/case. Available on special order: 5 gal. pails, 55 gal. drums.
  • Sikaflex® 2c NS

    2-component, premium-grade, polyurethane-based, elastomeric sealant. It is principally a chemical cure in a non-sag consistency.

     

    Use

    • Intended for use in all properly designed working joints with a minimum depth of 1/4 inch.
    • Ideal for vertical and horizontal applications.
    • Placeable at temperatures as low as 40°F.
    • Adheres to most substrates commonly found in construction.
    • An effective sealant for use in Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS).
    • Submerged environments, such as canal and reservoir joints.

    Characteristics and Advantages

    • Capable of ±50% joint movement.
    • Chemical cure allows the sealant to be placed in joints exceeding ы in. in depth.
    • High elasticity with a tough, durable, flexible consistency.
    • Exceptional cut and tear resistance.
    • Exceptional adhesion to most substrates without priming.
    • Available in 40 architectural colors.
    • Color uniformity assured via Color-pak system.

  • Sikaflex® Primer-449

    Repair & Protection
    Sikaflex Primer 449 is used to promote adhesion to pvc, solvent-based enamel, PPG’s fluorocarbon
    Duranar-finish, and certain plastics such as ABS and Plexiglass.

    Roofing
    Sikaflex Primer 449 is a specially formulated  solvent-based primer used to promote the adhesion of Sarnafil G459 Grid Strip flashing membrane to the grid adhesive. Sikaflex Primer 449 must be used on all G459 Grid Strip flashing installations.

  • Sikaflex® Primer-260

    Sikaflex Primer 260 promotes adhesion of urethane sealants to various metallic, non-metallic, and plastic substrates.

     

    Use

    Most substrates require a primer only if testing shows a need for it or where the sealant will be underwater after cure. Certain substrates do require a primer under all conditions.
