After months of preparation, Sika Corporation’s Residential Refurbishment, Sealing & Bonding target market is pleased to launch its new retail website -  The goal of the website is to help Do-It-Yourself customers find the right product for their project, become inspired by creative home projects and have a direct line of support from Sika while continuing to assist our Pro customers.


“The driving force behind this website was to create a site that speaks to all of our customers…the Pro and the DIY'er while also addressing a very important demographic  – the Hispanic community. You can easily toggle between the English and Spanish sites which is a new feature of the site. The Pro customers have easy access to the information they need quickly and efficiently, while the DIY customers can experience a more personal site that is informative and inspirational,” stated Rosa Romualdo, Vice-President of Sika’s retail division.


The overall design utilizes a much softer color palette and is filled with vibrant video and imagery while the simpler navigation creates a more intuitive experience for users. There are also other helpful tools such as a product calculator, a DIY Tips section and a Support section fueled by a database of customers’ most frequently asked questions.

The site utilizes the latest web technologies to provide an engaging experience that is fast, secure and full of compelling content across all devices.  To achieve a mobile-first approach, Google’s AMP framework was used to create pages that load quickly and highly perform on mobile devices. markup can be found throughout the site to prepare content for voice search queries,  whether from a phone or an intelligent personal assistant.
