About the Role

We are looking for an experienced data platform professional with several years of hands‑on experience in building, operating, and evolving data platforms at global scale.

You bring a strong blend of architectural expertise, technical depth, and leadership maturity, and you are comfortable taking responsibility for the data platform, covering architecture, implementation, and reliable service delivery from concept to production in a mission‑critical enterprise environment.

Together with the Data Governance team, Data Consumption team (BI, Analytics, AI) and the Platform Operations Team, you are jointly responsible for a state‑of‑the‑art, business‑oriented data platform and actively drive its continuous and sustainable evolution.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in designing, operating, and scaling enterprise‑wide data platforms in an international environment
  • Hands‑on experience with modern cloud data platforms, ideally based on Azure Databricks, including related ecosystem components such as dbt and data cataloging / governance solutions (e.g. Witboost, Collibra, or comparable tools)
  • Strong ownership mindset for the ongoing improvement of platform architecture, engineering practices, reliability, and operational excellence
  • Clear customer‑centric mindset, with a strong focus on user adoption, service quality, and stakeholder satisfaction
  • High commitment to delivering reliable, high‑quality data platform services that meet business expectations in terms of stability, performance, and usability
  • Strong interest in staying ahead of technological trends and translating innovation into tangible business value
  • High level of resilience and the ability to perform in complex, high‑expectation environments
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with IT, governance, analytics, and business stakeholders
  • Hands‑on, result‑oriented approach with the ability to seamlessly move between strategy, architecture, and implementation
