Responsibilities & Opportunities

  • Physical inventory and cycle counting of component items
  • Inventory Adjustments and investigations as needed to ensure root cause analysis
  • Scheduling delivery of components to maximize inventory turns and control obsolete material
  • Review of bills and invoices for proper coding and to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Periodic review of planning parameters based on changing business conditions
  • Managing expedites and maintaining safety stock
  • Analysis of inventory to ensure full timely support of production needs

Preferred Skills

B.S. degree or similar in Supply Chain or minimum of 3 years or related job experience

Roles & Opportunities

Sika is looking for an experienced Materials Analyst to join it’s growing team in Versailles Kentucky for our Automotive & Industry Business.

Material Analysts at Sika will play a key role in order placement for the materials needed in production, and in maintaining component parts inventory. Frequent communication with internal customers to review needs is key in accurate control of materials.

  • Supplier Management 
  • Inventory Management
  • Creating and Revising P.O.s
  • Inventory adjustments and expedites as required
  • Management of Safety Stock and level minimums based on changing business conditions
  • Physical cycle counting in the facility and adjustment investigations when gaps arise
  • Understanding internal manufacturing schedules, and adjusting ship schedules to support 
  • Communicating with internal customers and suppliers to support production needs and inform of any potential late shipments or inventory issues
