Responsibilities & Opportunities

Sika is looking for an experienced Liquid Operator to join it’s growing team.  “In the Dallas area for our Insulation business”

  • Supervise and train Pour Table Operators, including job assignments and rotation.
  • Monitor and adjust process parameters, ensuring operations run within tolerance levels.
  • Coordinate product run performance with Production Manager and Process Engineer.
  • Maintain and change equipment parts as required (e.g., heads, lines, ELOs, rupture discs).
  • Perform product changes, including recalibration, facer changes, and load board adjustments.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards are maintained.
  • Operate various equipment, including bottom printer, facer tension control system, and Refuse Truck as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient production operations.

Preferred Skills

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand during working time of 8 to 10-hour shift.
  • The employee is regularly required to walk on concrete floors over an area of about 150 feet radius including some stairs and raised platforms.
  • The employee must be able to constantly use hands, fingers, and arms to adjust operational components of equipment, tools, and controls, use computer keyboard, and occasionally changing a facer roll shaft weighing 70 pounds.
  • The employee must regularly use hands and arms to reach, lift, and balance foam insulation boards weighing between 10 and 20 pounds. 
  • Employee must occasionally lift and manipulate foam boards (up to 20 pounds each) and 4x8 wood panels (approximately 50 pounds each) for assembly.
