Responsibilities & Opportunities

Sika is looking for an experienced Sr. Sales Representative to provide technical sales support at the regional level to the designer and owner with prescribed management of Design Services for the customer including, but not limited to, specification activity, specification content, roofing and waterproofing details.  The candidate needs to have excellent communication, organizational and writing skills, and knowledge about the roofing industry.  The ideal candidate is in the Dallas, TX area. This position reports to the Area Manager, Central.

  • Position Sika Corp. as a company that provides quality products, support, and service
  • Sales of all Roofing and Waterproofing systems to meet agreed upon budget and gross margin objectives
  • Work with Local, Regional, and National Sika team to ensure proper design documents are provided
  • Create new Sika opportunities with assigned account(s)
  • Responsible to oversee specification activity and training with assigned account(s)
  • Work with the Roofing Contractor account management team to insure assigned account(s) are being properly supported Locally, Regionally, and Nationally

Preferred Skills

  • Minimum of five years of sales or related experience, preferably to the owner and architectural communities
  • Understanding of the roofing industry
  • Computer proficient
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding presentation abilities
