Polyester Filling and Fairing Compounds
Sika's Advanced Resins polyester filling and fairing compounds are two-component systems, consisting of a polyester resin paste and benzoyl peroxide (BPO) cream hardener. They are excellent for everyday filling, fairing and bonding applications, providing fast and easy sanding, as well as excellent adhesion to a wide range of plastics, metals, composites and other substrates. Our product line includes select technologies that offer lightweight formulations, styrene-free formulations, high temperature resistance, flame retardancy, or above and below waterline capability. All polyester filling and fairing compounds are mixed 100 parts by weight of resin with 2 parts BPO.

Epoxy Filling & Fairing Compounds
Sika's epoxy filling and fairing compounds are two-component systems consisting of a resin and a hardener component. These systems provide superior adhesion and high strength, as well as outstanding moisture and chemical resistance. While these filling and fairing systems are sandable several hours after application, they provide an exceptionally smoother surface with minimal pinholes. Suitable for a wide range of end-markets, their ability to be used above and below the waterline makes them an excellent choice for the marine industry for large fairing applications on aluminum, steel, fiberglass, and wooden boats.
