Management Trainee Program
How the Program Works
The Management Trainee program at Sika Corporation is a 12-month rotational program for high-potential candidates holding a bachelor’s degree or higher education degree, with little to no industry knowledge. The training program allows you to experience various roles in sales, marketing, engineering, and operations, to help build a foundation for a career at Sika Corporation. During the rotational program, trainees have a mentor, giving them the support they need to grow and gain knowledge in various parts of the business. Learning occurs primarily through on-the-job projects, allowing you to develop the skill set needed to accelerate you into future leadership positions.
This unique position allows you to work at three different Sika locations across the US within 12 months (one location for sales track). Housing, vehicle, and cell phone are provided while traveling outside of your home base. The next training program will begin in June 2024.
Function Track
The Management Trainee Function Track is a 12-month rotational journey that will teach you about Sika's Research and Development, Operations, Quality, Sustainability, Marketing, and/or Customer Service. During the function track, you will rotate to three different locations throughout the United States and work within three different departments. We strive to place trainees in rotations that will help them advance their careers and rotations that they are passionate about.
Sales Track
The Management Trainee Sales Track is designed for those individuals who are passionate about going into sales. During the 12-month program, you will be assigned to a territory throughout the United States (relocation may be required) target market within Sika, and a mentor. Throughout the 12 months, you will learn the ins and outs of the products sold, get experience with inside sales, and be on the road with multiple sales representatives in your assigned area. By the end of the 12 months, you will be a seasoned Sika sales rep!
