What are the thickness limitations for Sikacryl Ready-Mix Stucco Patch application?

Sikacryl Ready-Mix Stucco Patch can't be applied too thickly. Please apply 1/4" lifts (depth limitation). Once the first layer has cured, continue to apply additional layers on top.

No, Sikacryl Ready-Mix Stucco Patch should not be applied in the rain. It is recommended to wait 24 hours once product is fully cured prior to getting wet.

The hole must be dry (free from standing water) before the product can be installed. It's recommended to apply this product during a dry day.

Does temperature affect the integrity of Sika® PostFix® and how do you remove product if it spills on cement driveway?

Sika® PostFix® Fence Post Mix must be conditioned between 65° - 75° F for at least 2 hours before it is used. Since the product cures with a chemical reaction, the hotter the A and B components are, the faster it will react. It is always best to let the product cool down to application temperatures. Grinding the top layer of cement off will remove the stain.

What is the best way to remove Sika® PostFix® Fence Post Mix if it gets on your hands?

Sika® PostFix® Fence Post Mix will gradually be removed from your skin over time. Soap with pumice will help remove it faster (Lava Soap). As always Sika recommends wearing gloves during every application.

What works best for cleaning your tools after using Sikacryl PowerSet Instant Concrete?

Eye protection and gloves must be worn at all times during cleanup. If Sikacryl PowerSet Instant Concrete is still soft, Xylene or MEK can be used, but be careful since these are solvents. If Sikacryl PowerSet Gap Filler is hard, then mechanical preparation is needed. This can be a grinder or a chisel and hammer, for example. This product has a fast reaction time, so it will not stay unreacted for very long. In 68F - 77F, it will gel in 4 minutes and it will be fully cured in 40 minutes.

What is the difference between Sikaflex+ Crack Flex Sealant and Sikaflex+ Self-Leveling Sealant?

Sikaflex+ Crack Flex Sealant is textured, while Sikaflex+ Self-Leveling Sealant has a smooth finish. Sikaflex+ Self-Leveling-Sealant is designed for joint applications, while Sikaflex Crack Flex Sealant is more suitable for cracks.

How much time do I have to work with Sikacryl PowerSet Instant Concrete before it's fully cured?

In 68F-77F temperatures, Sikacryl PowerSet Instant Concrete will gel in 4 minutes and it will be fully cured in 40 minutes.

Can I use Sikaflex+ Crack Flex Sealant on a slope?

No, Sikaflex+ Crack Flex Sealant is not recommended to be used on a slope. Sikaflex+ Crack Flex Sealant is for horizontal applications only.

What's better for tuck pointing: Sikaflex Mortar Fix or Sikacryl PowerSet Instant Concrete?

Both perform well for tuck pointing. Both products are textured; however, Sikaflex Mortar Fix is lighter in color, and Sikacryl PowerSet Instant Concrete has a faster cure time. Sikaflex Mortar Fix cures to a flexible rubber finish, while Sikacryl PowerSet Instant Concrete cures to a hard material.

If SikaLatex R is added to a stucco finish, will it prevent the stucco finish from cracking?

SikaLatex R Concrete Bonding Adhesive and Fortifier will improve adhesion to the substrate. The density is also improved which helps to prevent cracking and improves  the weathering characteristics.

All coating must be removed and there must be a clean and sound concrete surface.
