The Asher Adams Autograph Collection is a striking 225-room hotel built adjacent to Salt Lake City’s historic Union Pacific Depot. Originally designed with full-dimension brick, the project required a solution that maintained the timeless masonry aesthetic while improving energy efficiency and durability. By utilizing Senergy EIFS with thin brick, the project achieved the look of traditional masonry while benefiting from continuous insulation (CI), reduced structural load, and long-term cost savings. The 60,000-square-foot hotel is a testament to how EIFS enhances the building enclosure for modern construction.

This high-performance EIFS system provided seamless transitions between thin brick and EIFS finishes, ensuring a lightweight yet durable exterior. By eliminating thermal bridging and incorporating a single-product air and water barrier, the system significantly improved energy efficiency and moisture resistance. The result is a sustainable, low-maintenance façade that meets the demands of contemporary hospitality design. The Asher Adams project showcases how EIFS can successfully merge aesthetic appeal, energy performance, and long-term durability, offering an innovative solution for modern architecture.
