Usage

SikaWall Clear Seal is designed to be used on any Sika Facades standard textured acrylic finishes, Sika Facades Wood Grain Effect finish, and SikaWall-4080 Color Advance coating.

Shelf Life

Two (2) years, when properly stored in original container.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in unopened container in a cool, clean, dry area at temperatures between 40° and 85 °F (4° and 29 °C).
  • Keep containers tightly sealed after opening to maintain shelf life freshness.

Application

Application Information

Ambient Air Temperature

  • Apply only when air and surface temperature is between 50°F and 90°F (10°C and 32°C).
  • Do not apply if surface or ambient temperature is expected to fall below 45 °F (7 °C) within 24 hours after application.

Open Time

30 minutes - depending on temperature and humidity

Drying Time

Under average conditions of 70 °F (21 °C) and 50% Relative Humidity

  • Sealer will typically be dry within 3 hours.
  • Drying time is dependent on humidity, air temperature, sun exposure, surface conditions and film thickness. Lower temperature, higher humidity and application in shaded areas will extend drying time.
  • Protect sealer from rain, roof run-off, condensation or other precipitation and temperatures less than 45°F (7°C) for a minimum of 24 hours and until dry.

Coverage

250-400 ft2/gallon (6-9.8 m2/L) depending on application and surface. 

Coverage rates vary depending on finish texture and application techniques.
