This Homewood Suites by Hilton in Myrtle Beach, SC required a multi-clad façade and compliance with the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), including the use of continuous insulation and air barrier behind all cladding. Pebbletex CI-DCA with SikaWall-1000 MaxGrip Veneer Adhesive was the ideal solution to meet these requirements, because the system includes continuous insulation, air/water-resistive barrier and drainage for effective heat, air and moisture control. The system also features SikaWall-1000 MaxGrip Veneer Adhesive, an innovative setting bed mortar that can be used to adhere thin brick and a variety of other masonry veneers. More than 1,000 bags of SikaWall-1000 MaxGrip Veneer Adhesive were used to complete this project.
