Protect materials during transportation to avoid physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place protected from freezing, extreme heat and direct sun. Store at no less than 40°F (4°C).

• Avoid heavy traffic or cleaning for 48 hours after application.
• 3-4 hours under normal conditions.
• High humidity and low temperatures extend drying time.

Coverage will vary depending on surface conditions and thickness of application.

• 400-600 ft2 (37.2-55.7 m2) per 2 gallon pail (two coats).

• Substrate must be clean, dry, sound and free of contaminants such as dust, oil, mildew and efflorescence.
• Ambient conditions,  the  substrate and the product itself must be at a minimum of 40°F during application and at least 48 hours following until the product has fully dried. 

• Thoroughly mix with a paddle mixer to a homogeneous consistency at low rpm.
• Up to 8 ounces of clean, potable water may be added to adjust viscosity. Close container when not in use.

Clean tools frequently using clean water prior to drying.

• Sika Facades recommends that the project owner or designer approve a job site mock-up of the application of this product. The mock-up should demonstrate the product’s appearance under the conditions given by the project specification(s).
• Periodically, as the work progresses, evaluate it from a distance to ensure the desired effect is being produced across the entire surface.
• Apply a basecoat of SikaWall OmniCoat™, SikaWall Alto™ or other approved basecoat with a standard stainless steel plaster trowel or Venetian trowel. Apply the basecoat using decorative, multi-directional trowel strokes. Allow the basecoat to dry completely before proceeding.
• Inspect the basecoat and scrape or sand down all trowel marks and lap lines before proceeding.
• Using a Venetian trowel, apply the first coat of SikaWall®-429 Brio in a very thin layer using multidirectional decorative trowel strokes. Allow to dry.
• Apply the second coat of SikaWall®-429 Brio in a very thin layer using overlapping, multi-directional decorative trowel strokes.
• As soon as the surface is no longer tacky, begin burnishing using a Venetian trowel. Burnish until the desired level of polish has been achieved.
• Use of  SikaWall Clear Sealer is recommend to protect the finished surface.
