SikaWall®-6260 Metallic T0.5 Finish

A 100% acrylic smooth textured finish.

Factory-mixed, 100% acrylic polymer finish, utilizing uniformly sized 0.5 mm aggregate for a smooth texture. It features an optimized combination of aggregates and metalescent pigments that combine the visual appeal of metal with the application ease of a textured finish.

  • Metal pigmentation and optimized aggregate size provide a metal sheen.
  • Abrasion resistant to enhance the metallic appearance, increase ease of application, and hide minor surface imperfections.

Usage

SikaWall Metallic T0.5 finish provides protection for an aesthetically pleasing metallic appearance, surface and texture for Sika Facades systems, poured concrete or unit masonry, conventional stucco, properly prepared insulating concrete forms, and interior veneer plaster or gypsum wallboard.

Two (2) years, when properly stored in original container.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place protected from freezing, extreme heat and direct sun. Store at no less than 40°F (4.5°C).
  • Do not stack pallets.

Application

Application Information

Ambient Air Temperature

  • Protect from temperatures less than 40°F (4.5°C) for a minimum of 24 hours or until dry
  • When temperatures less than 40°F (4.5°C) prevail, provide supplementary heat during installation and drying period for at least 24 hours after installation and until dry.
  • Do not apply in ambient temperature above 100°F (38°C) or surface temperature above 120°F (49°C).
  • Protect the application area from direct sunlight and hot temperatures as necessary. Application on a “hot wall” will produce patterns as a wet edge cannot be maintained.

Drying Time

Under average conditions [70°F (21°C), 50% Relative Humidity 

  • Finish will be dry within 24 hours. Drying time is dependent on humidity, air temperature, sun exposure, surface conditions and finish thickness. Lower temperature, higher humidity and application in shaded areas will extend drying time.
  • Protect finish from rain or other precipitation and temperatures less than 40°F (4.5°C) for a minimum of 24 hours and until dry.
