SikaWall®-500 Stucco Base Concentrate

Factory-blended mixture of Portland cement, reinforcing fibers, and other proprietary ingredients. 

SikaWall®-500 Stucco Base Concentrate is a concentrate which requires the addition of 90.7–108.9 kg (200–240 lbs) of plaster sand conforming to ASTM C144 or ASTM C897 and 18.9–22.7 liters (5–6 gallons) of potable water. SikaWall®-500 Stucco Base Concentrate conforms to ASTM C926, the standard specification for application of Portland cement-based stucco.

Usage

For use with the Sika Stucco Wall Systems. Acceptable substrates include: PermaBase® Cement Board and other cement-boards conforming with ASTM C1325 (Type A-exterior); poured concrete/ unit masonry; ASTM C1177 type sheathings including eXP™ sheathing; GlasRoc® sheathing; Securock™ glass-mat sheathing; DensGlass™exterior sheathing; GreenGlass sheathing and Weather Defense Platinum sheathing; gypsum sheathing (ASTM C79/ C1396), expanded polystyrene insulation board complying with ASTM C578 Type II with nominal 24 kg/m3 (1.5 lbs/ft3) density, Exposure I or exterior plywood (Grade C/D or better), or Exposure I OSB, to which an air/water-resistive membrane and lath are attached.

Eight months if stored as directed.

Storage Conditions

Protect Sika Facades materials during transportation and installation to avoid physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place.
