Polymer modified dry-mix leveling and embedment coat that contains Portland cement and additives.

  • Dry, bagged product that does not require heated shipping or storage; just add water to mix
  • Mix only what you need; reduces dumpster and landfill costs of pail disposal
  • Reduces the probability for efflorescence due to lowered cement-to-polymer ratio

Usage

SikaWall®-525 Stucco Surface Leveler can be used as a leveler or to embed mesh for a crack suppression system for Sika Facades stucco systems or conventional stucco systems. For use in commercial and residential construction. NOT FOR USE WITH SIKA FACADES' EIFS OR CBS WALL SYSTEMS.

Shelf Life

One (1) year, when unopened and stored as directed. 

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place protected from freezing, extreme heat and direct sun. Store at no less than 40°F (4°C). 
  • Protect bagged materials from moisture during transportation and storage.
  • Protect materials during transportation to avoid physical damage.
  • Do not stack pallets.

Application Information

Ambient Air Temperature

  • When temperatures less than 40°F (4°C) prevail, provide supplementary heat during installation and drying period for at least 24 hours after installation and until dry.
  • Do not apply in ambient temperature above 100°F (38°C) or surface temperature above 120°F (49°C).

Pot Life

Depending on temperature and humidity, pot life is between 1-2 hours after water has been added.

Cure Time

Under average conditions of 70 °F (21 °C) and 50% Relative Humidity

  • SikaWall Stucco Surface Leveler will typically be fully dry in 24 hours.
  • Drying time is dependent on humidity, air temperature, sun exposure, surface conditions and product thickness. Lower temperature, higher humidity and application in shaded areas will extend drying time.
  • Protect coating from rain or other precipitation and temperatures less than 40°F (4°C) for a minimum of 24 hours or until dry.
