Peak Health and Wellness Center recently opened its third location in Post Falls, Idaho, a 30,000-square-foot facility offering state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment, group fitness classes, and luxurious amenities such as tanning and massage therapy. The center’s exterior design combines dark tones and stone accents with a vibrant red finish, creating a striking and inviting aesthetic. To achieve this look and enhance energy efficiency, the project utilized Parex Standard Watermaster CI, an EIFS with drainage, incorporating 2.5-inch EPS for increased R-value. The system also features a continuous fluid-applied air and water-resistive barrier and exterior insulation for superior management of air, moisture, and heat.

Given the cold Idaho winters, the project employed a low-temperature air weather barrier to ensure construction could proceed despite dropping temperatures. Specialty EIFS products were selected to meet the project’s unique needs, including a durable high-impact mesh and basecoat on the bottom 10 feet of the building for added protection. The vibrant red finish was completed using an elastomeric coating with dirt pickup resistance to maintain its brilliance over time. This tailored EIFS solution provided Peak Health and Wellness Center with an energy-efficient, durable, and visually stunning exterior that reflects its modern and welcoming environment.
