The Everette Senior Center, a dynamic recreational space for adults aged 50 and over, recently underwent an extensive exterior renovation to enhance its aesthetic appeal and performance. The building now features the Senergy Channeled Adhesive CI Design wall system, combining state-of-the-art energy efficiency and moisture management with a visually striking facade. Specialty finishes, including SenerBrick and SikaWall®-4020 Granite & Stone Finish, were utilized to replicate the look of brick, stone, and split-face block, achieving a distinctive mixed cladding appearance that blends seamlessly with the center’s vibrant atmosphere.
The renovation highlights the versatility of EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish System), which mimics a variety of materials while offering lightweight, durable, and cost-effective solutions. The upgraded drainage EIFS system includes continuous EPS insulation, a fluid-applied air/water-resistive barrier, and efficient drainage to improve heat, air, and moisture control. This fully integrated, code-compliant system not only enhances the building's energy efficiency but also ensures long-term durability, creating a welcoming and sustainable environment for the community it serves.
