Dry storage at temperature from +40 °F (+5 °C) up to +86°F (+30 °C). Protect from direct sunlight, rain, snow, ice, humidity, etc.

Reinforced concrete structure must be:

• Sound, clean and free of any contaminations (e.g. dust, oil, grease, release agent).
• Free from surface defects (e.g. blowholes, voids, honeycombing, cracks, protrusions).
• Do not use for negative side hydrostatic pressure applications.

The concrete must meet the defined substrate quality. If the substrate does not fulfil the requirements, the surface must be pre-treated prior to the application, in order to prevent any subsequent damage to the membrane sheets. For more  detailed information and guidance please refer to the current Method statement for the SikaProof® A+ post-applied system.

Add the appropriate amount of water into a suitable mixing pail. Add the powder to the water and mix for at least 3 minutes with a mixer until the material becomes smooth in consistency and a uniform grey color. Use a ≥ 500 rpm paint/mortar mixer equipped with a jiffy mixer or mud paddle. Avoid aeration while mixing the adhesive. Mix only the quantity which can be used within its pot life.

Clean all tools immediately after use with water. Hardened material must be removed mechanically.
