DECORATIVE CONCRETE PRODUCTS & SOLUTIONS
Sika can help you repair cracks or imperfections on the surface, as well as completely refinish the concrete flooring area. Sika offers a variety of resurfacing options for concrete floors in commercial and industrial environments so that your floor can look its best!
Sika Scofield's LITHOCHROME® and EMERCHROME® SC Color Hardeners create abrasion-resistant interior floors and freeze-thaw stable exterior hardscapes that stand up to both foot and vehicular traffic, and extreme weather. Based on Taber Abrasion testing, Sika Scofield Color Hardeners are significantly more abrasion resistant and provide superior compressive strength after 31 days over competing color hardener products.
Consisting of precise blends of cement, gap-graded silica quartz aggregates, synthetic iron oxides and plasticizer, Sika Scofield Color Hardeners are applied to newly placed flatwork, and are available in a wide selection of standard color options. They can be used alone, or with Sika Stamps to produce a variety of colored concrete surfaces.
SCOFIELD® Proguard™ Duracover™ is a flexible, durable material that will protect interior flooring such as decorative concrete, ceramic tile, terrazzo, pavers, wood, and composite floors from harsh construction environments both before and after installation. SCOFIELD® Proguard™ Duracover™ can be easily removed at the completion of the project, requiring minimal clean up.
SCOFIELD® Proguard™ Duracover™ provides protection from construction traffic, equipment, gypsum wall board, dust and other construction related materials. It resists oil and petroleum-based compounds and high p/H compounds. SCOFIELD® Proguard™ Duracover™ will not scratch wood, ceramic tile or other finished floor systems. Water will not deteriorate SCOFIELD® Proguard™ Duracover™ like ordinary kraft paper.
Sika Scofield's CHROMIX® Admixtures for Color-Conditioned® Concrete are a blend of non-fading, synthetic iron oxides which produce uniform, permanent, streak-free colors in concrete floors, hardscapes and forms. Available pre-packaged in easy to use disintegrating bags for distributor sales, or in granular form from ready-mix suppliers, CHROMIX® Admixtures are the #1 ranked brand of integral concrete color.
All Sika Integral Color conforms to ASTM Standard C 979 (Standard Specification for Pigments for Integrally Colored Concrete). Finely ground and precisely measured, Sika Integral Color can also be used to help mitigate the Urban Heat Island Effect through the use of special reflective pigments in our SOLACHROME™ Integral Coloring Treatment for High-SRI Concrete.
For economical, non-architectural color, SCOFIELD® Integral Color SG is available in pre-measured bags or granular formulation.

Sika's Scofield's Texturetop® Pro Stamp Grade and Stencil Grade Concrete Overlays are polymer modified cementitious toppings formulated for resurfacing structurally sound, non-moving concrete floors and exterior hardscapes. They provide a durable surface suitable for stamping with Sika Stamps or textured with texture rollers. The cured product creates an abrasion resistant surface suitable for pedestrian and automobile traffic. It is an ideal system for restoring worn or color-blemished concrete, out of level surfaces or correcting construction errors.
Sika Stamps are a key component of a system of matched concrete and overlayment pattern and texturing tools used to transform the surface of freshly placed architectural concrete into patterns and textures that mimic other building materials such as stone, slate, wood, or brick. Stamped concrete is both easier to install and more cost-effective than these other materials. They create natural appearing, low-maintenance, textured surfaces with the structural strength and wear-resistance of concrete in a wide variety of imprinted patterns. Sika Stamps are marketed under the Sika Scofield LITHOTEX® Pavecrafters® brand.
For existing concrete, a stampable overlay such as SCOFIELD® Texturetop® Pro can be used, that can be textured or stenciled to provide a new surface texture. Stamped concrete should always be colored to achieve the most realistic appearance. There are several ways to color stamped concrete, with the most common being a combination of Sika Scofield's LITHOCHROME® Color Hardener and LITHOCHROME® Antiquing Release Pro.
Another option for adding texture to a concrete surface is to use a concrete surface retarder such as Sika Scofield's LITHOCAST™ Surface Retarder, available in six formulations. The surface retarder is sprayed onto the surface of the freshly placed concrete, where it delays the set time of the surface paste. This allows the surface paste to be washed off later, revealing selected amounts of sand or aggregate on the surface. The final effect can be enhanced by adding Sika Scofield's CHROMIX® Admixtures integral color into the concrete mix.
Ground and polished concrete is a mechanical process of cutting or honing an existing interior concrete slab, adding dye (if desired) and a densifier, a guard or finish coat, and then polishing to the desired level of gloss. Densifying products are used to harden the surface by filling the naturally existing surface pores with additional calcium silicate hydrate (CSH), a naturally occurring mineral in concrete that gives concrete its strength. Over the last decade, this tough, low-maintenance flooring system has entered the architectural mainstream.
Sika Scofield's Concrete Sealers protect the surface, enhance the appearance of colored concrete, and may provide protection against contamination and chemical attack by imparting a film-forming layer on the surface of the concrete. This protective layer also adds a measure of abrasion resistance to the concrete surface.
Sika's SCOFIELD® Cureseal™ solvent-based concrete sealers are non-yellowing curing and sealing compounds for newly poured and existing concrete surfaces. They are formulated for curing and sealing uncolored concrete, integrally colored concrete, and color hardened (shake-on) concrete, stamped or stenciled concrete, and cementitious overlays. SCOFIELD® Cureseal™ concrete sealers are compatible with nearly all Scofield coloring and texturing systems.
Sika's water-based curing compounds and cure/seals such as SCOFIELD® CureSeal-W™ aid in the development of the designed concrete strength. They retain water in the concrete to promote proper cement hydration. The use of Scofield cures and sealers can help minimize unwanted cracking such as surface cracking and shrinkage cracking, and allow for the maximum potential of abrasion resistance of the concrete.
Sika Scofield’s LITHOCHROME® Chemstain® Classic is a penetrative, reactive acid stain that chemically combines with cured concrete to produce permanent, variegated color effects. Colors can be used in combination or diluted for a wide variety of color effects. Sika Scofield’s LITHOCHROME® Chemstain® Classic can be used with Sika’s Integral Colors, or on uncolored concrete.
Sika Scofield’s LITHOCHROME® Tntura™ Stain is a high-performance, self-priming, low-odor reactive polymer stain for coloring concrete surfaces. It is designed for use as a primer/basecoat beneath clear solvent or waterborne acrylic, urethane or epoxy sealers. It can be applied lightly to gently tone surfaces, spot sprayed, sponged, or layered to develop variegated artistic effects. It can be applied at lower coverage rates to develop rich, opaque colors. It is ideal for use on older slabs to mimic the look of acid stain.
Sika Scofield’s Formula One™ Liquid Dye Concentrate is a penetrating, translucent dye concentrate designed to color interior concrete surfaces prior to being sealed, densified, or polished. Designed for easy job-site dilution, simply add to one gallon of acetone and mix thoroughly. The mixed dye is ready to use in minutes. Use SCOFIELD® Formula One™ Liquid Dye Concentrate to create colored ground and polished concrete floors, or dyed and sealed concrete floors.
