SikaBiresin® AP012

SikaBiresin® AP012 is a fast-setting, carvable, polyester-based, industrial filler paste, specifically designed for applications on wood-based patterns and models. In its mixed, uncured state, the material has a smooth, creamy consistency that enables the user to make quick repairs with minimal air entrapment. SikaBiresin® AP012 is capable of being shaped and formed to precise requirements, without dulling or damaging tools. SikaBiresin® AP012 readily bonds to all types of wood and can be finished to a feather edge by sanding, carving, machining or scraping. Once cured, SikaBiresin® AP012 is resistant to chipping and cracking.

Usage

SikaBiresin® AP012 is specifically formulated for use in core box repairs, pattern build-ups, rebuilding broken areas, prototypes, cope and drag changes, design engineer changes, fillet and radius areas, and other pattern, figure, model and tooling applications.

This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual materials and conditions have to be performed to ensure satisfactory performance.
