SikaBiresin® AP006

SikaBiresin® AP006 is a styrene-free, fast setting, polyester-based, industrial filler paste. It is specifically formulated for filling, fairing, and repair applications in the surface of FRP production molds and can be used in high service temperature applications up to 400°F (204°C). When exposed to elevated temperatures, SikaBiresin® AP006 has a tendency to darken, however it does not gas, bubble, or cause any finish distortion. In its mixed, uncured state, SikaBiresin® AP006 has a smooth, creamy consistency that enables the user to make quick repairs with minimal air entrapment.

Usage

SikaBiresin® AP006 is specifically formulated for filling, fairing, and repair applications in the surface of FRP production molds. Common applications include repairing FRP mold gel coats and surfaces, pattern repairs, high temperature repairs of vacuum molds, plastic mold repairs, and cultured marble repairs. It can also be used as a model filler.

This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed ensuring adhesion and material compatibility.
