Sikaflex®-504 SL

Sikaflex®-504 SL is a 1-component silane terminated polymer (STP) sealant that cures on exposure to atmospheric humidity. Its flow characteristic is designed for roof sealing applications where the sealant must partially level for wider coverage and still be able to encapsulate protrusions in the roof such as bolt heads. Sikaflex®-504 SL has a wide adhesion range and very good weathering resistance making it suitable for open joints.

Usage

Sikaflex®-504 SL is suitable for sealing a wide variety of RV roofing components and materials, including gel-coated, fiber-reinforced plastic, EPDM, metals, metal primers and paint coatings (2-component systems), ceramic materials, and plastics.

Seek manufacturer’s advice and perform tests on original substrates before using Sikaflex®-504 SL on materials prone to stress cracking. This product is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates and conditions have to be performed ensuring adhesion and material compatibility.
