• Recoat time: 12 hours minimum
• Lower surface or air temperatures and higher relative humidity will extend the drying time.
• If topcoating is delayed, ensure that patching compound is clean and free of dust, other contaminants and stains when work resumes.

Yield is variable and depends on job conditions.

1. Surfaces should be clean, sound, and free of all bond-inhibiting contaminants.  All surfaces to be treated must be free of oils, dirt, dust, mildew, and chalk.
2. Concrete substrates should be fully cured.
3. Apply Sika Thorocoat®-100 Primer to previously coated, dusty, or chalky surfaces before applying Sika Thorocoat®-748.

1. For small cracks up to 1/16” (1.6 mm) in width, apply patching compound using a small, damp sponge with slight hand pressure to fill the crack.
2. For larger static (non-moving) cracks 1/16 – 1/4” (1.6 to 6 mm) in width, rout out the crack to 1/4 by 1/4” (6 by 6 mm). Fill with Patching Compound using a putty knife or bulk caulking gun, then float with a trowel to remove excess from edges. Allow to dry a minimum of 4 hours. Apply a second lift and allow to dry a minimum of 12 hours prior to covering with a SikaWall® high-build acrylic wall coating.
3. Dynamic or moving cracks 1/4 by 1/4” (6 by 6 mm) should be treated as expansion joints, and caulked with the appropriate Sikaflex® sealant. Allow sealant to cure and proceed with crack repair as described above.
4. Anywhere stucco has been replaced, treat the area where the new stucco meets the old as a small crack, using the above method.
5. Sika Thorocoat®-748 dry to touch in 2-4 hours, depending on temperature and relative humidity. Allow Sika Thorocoat®-748 to dry for 24-48 hours before overcoating. 

Clean all tools and equipment immediately with warm, soapy water. Cured material may be removed by mechanical means.
