History

The Alexander Hotel was built in 1962 and is known as an icon in the Miami Beach neon skyline. This oceanfront resort has a vast history of housing movie stars, musicians and political figures who seek a low-key escape combined with luxury. Sean Connery, Madonna, Elizabeth Taylor, Margaret Thatcher and President Bill Clinton are just a handful of the notable guests that have stayed at the tremendous resort. Over the past 50 years, this property has undergone many upgrades and exterior renovations but none quite as extensive as the one completed in May 2019. With the help of many architects, engineers, and consultants, the Sika team was able to restore this renowned hotel to its former glory.
