Sika® Fibermesh®-150F

MICRO-SYNTHETIC MONOFILAMENT FIBER

Sika® Fibermesh®-150F micro reinforcement system for concrete - 100 percent virgin homopolymer polypropylene multifilament (monofilament) fibers.  Specifically engineered and manufactured in an ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facility. Sika® Fibermesh®-150F previously SikaFiber PPM.

Packaging

Sika® Fibermesh®-150F fibers are available in a variety of packaging options.  The 2.2 lb degradable bags (1.0 kg) is standard.  The bags are packed into cartons and palletized.

  • UL Classified: Fibermesh 150. For use n Floor-Ceiling D700, D800, D900, G229, G243, G256, G514 Series Designs.
  • Complies with ASTM C 1116/C 1116M,Type III fiber reinforced concrete and therefore ASTM D7508

Application Information

Mixing

Sika® Fibermesh®-150F in degradable bags can be added directly to the concrete mixing system after the batching of the other ingredients and mixed for 4 to 5 minutes or 70 revolutions.

Application

The addition of Sika® Fibermesh®-150F at the recommended dosage rates does not require any mix design or application changes.  The fiber concrete can be mixed, sprayed or placed using conventional equipment.

Tooling & Finishing

Sika® Fibermesh®-150F can be finished by most finishing techiques.
Consumption

Recommended Dosage

The dosage of the Sika® Fibermesh®-150F will vary according to the Fire Testing Requiments.  Standard recommend dosage of Sika® Fibermesh®-150F according to the EN standard is 3.4 lb/yd3 (2 kg/m3) of concrete.
