CONCRETE STAINS & DYES - Interior or Exterior

Sika Scofield’s LITHOCHROME® Chemstain® Classic is a penetrative, reactive acid stain that chemically combines with cured concrete to produce permanent, variegated color effects. Colors can be used in combination or diluted for a wide variety of color effects. Sika Scofield’s LITHOCHROME® Chemstain® Classic can be used with Sika’s Integral Colors, or on uncolored concrete.

Sika Scofield’s LITHOCHROME® Tintura™ Stain is a high-performance, self-priming, low-odor reactive polymer stain for coloring concrete surfaces. It is designed for use as a primer/basecoat beneath clear solvent or waterborne acrylic, urethane or epoxy sealers. It can be applied lightly to gently tone surfaces, spot sprayed, sponged, or layered to develop variegated artistic effects. It can be applied at lower coverage rates to develop rich, opaque colors. It is ideal for use on older slabs to mimic the look of acid stain.

Sika Scofield’s Formula One™ Liquid Dye Concentrate is a penetrating, translucent dye concentrate designed to color interior concrete surfaces prior to being sealed, densified, or polished. Designed for easy job-site dilution, simply add to one gallon of acetone and mix thoroughly. The mixed dye is ready to use in minutes. Use SCOFIELD® Formula One™ Liquid Dye Concentrate to create colored ground and polished concrete floors, or dyed and sealed concrete floors.

STAIN & DYE PRODUCTS

LITHOCHROME® Chemstain® Classic

LITHOCHROME® Chemstain® Classic is a chemically reactive stain that etches and permanently colors cementitious surfaces with color effects that are variegated, mottled, and natural looking. Application requires a complex multistep process and should only be attempted by experienced contractors and artisans. LITHOCHROME® Chemstain® Classic can be left uncoated to simulate natural stone, or sealed with a polymeric topcoat to develop dramatic increases in color depth and intensity.

LITHOCHROME® Tintura™ Stain

LITHOCHROME® Tintura™ Stain is a high performance low-odor, reactive polymer stain for coloring interior or exterior vertical or horizontal concrete and other cementitious surfaces. Designed for direct application, its reactive chemistry bonds strongly to surfaces so that even thin applications resist degradation from weather and ultra-violet light. LITHOCHROME® Tintura™ Stain is semi-opaque. It can be applied lightly to gently tone surfaces, layered to simulate the variegated effects of reactive acid stains, or applied to full opacity for a paint like appearance.

SCOFIELD® Formula One™ Liquid Dye Concentrate

SCOFIELD® Formula One™ Liquid Dye Concentrate is a solvent soluble dye for coloring interior concrete surfaces. Designed for easy job-site dilution with acetone, the diluted material will penetrate into the pores of properly prepared new or old concrete. It can be applied lightly to gently tone surfaces, or applied heavily to develop deep colors. Variations in application technique and topcoat selection can produce color effects that range from rich paint like jewel tones to light variegated natural effects.

SCOFIELD® Revive™ Exterior Concrete Stain

SCOFIELD® Revive™ Exterior Concrete Stain is a semi-opaque, pigmented, ready-to-use solvent-based penetrating polysiloxane stain designed to add new color to uncolored concrete, or to renew color intensity and uniformity to aged, weathered, or patched, concrete surfaces. It is ideal for unifying the appearance of partial slab replacements patches, job continuations, or slabs of different composition or mix design.
