INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH METHYL-METHACRYLATE TOP COAT RESIN FOR FUNCTIONAL AND DECORATIVE FLOORS

Sikafloor®-71 TC Pronto is a methyl-methacrylate (MMA) top coat resin for use within the Sikafloor® Pronto flooring systems. Sikafloor®-71 TC Pronto is a solvent-free, 2-component, 100% reactive resin that is designed for roller-applied coatings and decorative flake or quartz flooring systems. Sikafloor®-71 TC Pronto is a transparent resin that is ideal for use as a topcoat in flooring systems that utilize decorative flake or quartz broadcast. Sikafloor®-71 TC Pronto has superior UV resistance, making it an excellent resin for use in exterior or interior applications resulting in a durable, nonchalking surface.

Usage

Used as a topcoat within the following Sikafloor® Pronto flooring systems:
  • Sikafloor® Pronto RB-1841 CF
  • Sikafloor® Pronto RB-1843 CQ
  • Sikafloor® Pronto RB-1851 CF
  • Sikafloor® Pronto RB-1853 CQ

Every Sikafloor® Pronto flooring system is a multiple-component system that utilizes a methyl-methacrylate (MMA) resin. It is critical that the instructions listed in the Safety Data Sheet and on the product label for every component of the system be read, understood, and followed. MMA resins are flammable liquids in their uncured state. Smoking, open flames, or sparks should not be permitted during the handling of the product. Explosion-safe ventilation must be used during the application to minimize vapor collection in the installation area and to improve overall air quality for the crew. All foodstuffs must be removed during the installation of the flooring system.
