S-Welding cord PVC

PVC flexible welding cord for Sarnabar or Sarnastop perimeter fastening

Sarnacord PVC is a flexible thermoplastic which is hot-air welded to the top of the Sarnafil® and Sikaplan® PVC membranes and against the side of the Sarnabar or Sarnastop when the Sarnabar or Sarnastop is used at the base of walls and curbs.

  • Hot-air weldable
  • Retains the Sarnafil membrane in position

Usage

To prevent tearing of the Sarnafil or Sikaplan membrane against the side of a Sarnabar or Sarnastop.

Application steps

APPLICATION

By use of a hand-held hot-air welder and a specialized nozzle tip, Sarnacord - PVC is hot-air welded to Sarnafil membrane on the detail side of the bar. Sarnacord - PVC is used with Sarnabar or Sarnastop at the base of walls, curbs, vent stacks, etc. in accordance with Sika Sarnafil's Detail Drawings.
