SikaCem®-193 CS Guard

Colloidal silica concrete sealer that produces a dense surface with superior hardness, enhanced gloss, and slip resistance

SikaCem®-193 CS Guard provides hardening properties along with reflective gloss and shine. SikaCem®-193 CS Guard penetrates deep into the surface, increasing long-term performance. SikaCem®-193 CS Guard forms an insoluble chemical bond to produce a dense, hardened sealed surface, enhanced gloss, and slip resistance.

Storage Conditions

Do not break the seal until SikaCem®-193 CS Guard is ready for use. Maintain unused SikaCem®-193 CS Guard in the original container. Store in a well-ventilated, cool, dry location and maintain temperatures between 40-100°F (4.4-37.8°C). Do not freeze.

Application steps

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Concrete refinement is a process requiring the use of three separate products that include SikaCem®-191 CS Cutter, SikaCem®-192 CS Densifier, and SikaCem®-193 CS Guard. The products must be used together to attain the desired results. SikaCem®-193 CS Guard is designed for use during the final sealing stage of concrete refinement.

 

APPLICATION

  1. Apply a thin coat of SikaCem®-193 CS Guard to the surface using a low-pressure sprayer and a microfiber mop. Do not over apply.
  2. Allow 30 minutes for the first coat of SikaCem®-193 CS Guard to dry to the touch.
  3. Burnish with a high speed burnisher and a black stripping pad.
  4. Apply a second thin coat of SikaCem®-193 CS Guard to the surface using a low-pressure sprayer and a microfiber mop. Do not over apply.
  5. Allow 30 minutes for the second coat of SikaCem®-193 CS Guard to dry to the touch.
  6. Burnish with a high speed burnisher and a black stripping pad.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean sprayers and microfiber mop with warm soapy water following use.
