Winter Additive For Fast Setting Cementitious Products

SikaQuick® Winter Boost is a pre-packaged additive for fast setting cementitious products, formulated to increase the early strength development of SikaQuick® and SikaCrete® products without affecting the initial workability.

Usage

Use in SikaQuick® 1000, SikaQuick® 2500, SikaQuick® VOH,SikaCrete®  421 CI, SikaQuick® 800, SikaGrout® 428 FS, SikaQuick® EZ Patch, and SikaQuick® FNP applications,when installation temperatures drop below 45° F (7° C).

Shelf Life

9 months from date of production if stored properly in original, unopened and undamaged, sealed packaging

Storage Conditions

Store dry at 40° - 95° F (4° - 35° C).

Protect powder from moisture. If damp, discard material.

Application steps

MIXING

  • Pour the recommended volume of clean, potable water [> 34° F (1° C)] into a suitably sized and clean mixing container.  Water must be liquid.  No ice.
  • Add the recommended amount of SikaQuick® Winter Boost per bag of mortar/concrete into the water and mix until it is dissolved.
  • Add the contents of the SikaQuick® 1000/SikaQuick® 2500/ SikaQuick® VOH/SikaCrete®  421 CI/ SikaQuick® 800/SikaGrout® 428 FS/SikaQuick® EZ Patch/ SikaQuick® FNP bag while continuing to mix.
  • Refer to the respective, current Product Data Sheet for complete and detailed instructions on the use of the SikaQuick® and SikaCrete® products.
