SikaProof® Tieback Cover

Preformed cover for detailing at soil retention tieback heads

SikaProof® Tieback Cover is three dimensional pre-formed tieback cover designed to cover tie-back nails less than 4” in height in lagging and retention walls prior to application of the SikaProof® A or SikaProof® A+ Membrane.

Usage

SikaProof® Tieback Cover can be installed over both cable and rod type tieback heads.  The cover is installed over the tieback with the perimeter base mechanically fastened to the soil retention system to provide a quick and easy detailing aid used with the SikaProof® waterproofing membrane systems.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Install SikaProof® Tieback Cover by anchoring into lagging with either mechanical fasterners or SikaProof® Sandwich Tape.  Install the field SikaProof® Membrane over the SikaProof® Tieback Cover and cut to fit around cover with 2" minimum overlap of membrane on the base.  Secure Membrane to the base using SikaProof® Tape A+ or SikaProof® Tape-150A.  Cover the remaining exposed section of the SikaProof® Tieback Cover with SikaProof® Tape A+ or SikaProof® Tape-150A.
