Sika is excited to announce that we have joined the U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Climate Challenge.
At Sika, our mission is to take the “sus” out of sustainability.
While chemical companies can often be associated with pollution and hazardous products, Sika endeavors to manufacture safer products with less waste using renewable energy.
We strive to provide product solutions that allow our customers to build more sustainably. Whether it be longer product life, better end-of-life solutions (recyclable materials and packaging), or increased safety in application, we aim to be the leader.
Committing to the DOE's Energy Reduction Pledge
Sika is excited to announce that we have joined the U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Climate Challenge.
We are committed to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by 50% and energy consumption by 10% within 10 years. It's a tall order, but we're confident we can get there! We're going straight to the source to find out what's happening, asking questions, and looking for inspiration in unexpected places.
The DOE will hold energy boot camps and in-plant training to accelerate sustainability initiatives within Sika. Additionally, Sika will work directly with a DOE technical representative and benefit from other partners' successes and shared experiences.
