Last week Sika celebrated our third annual Sika Day – a fun-filled day for all employees to celebrate community all over the world. The theme of Sika Day 2023, Caring for Each Other Beyond the Expected, was selected to represent our commitment to giving back to the local communities in which we operate.

Sika Corporation’s roofing team kept up one of their favorite traditions once again at the 2022 International Roofing Expo (IRE) with their 12th sponsorship of the Community Service Day.

Employee volunteers from Sika Corporation in Canton, MA came together on Tuesday, June 7th, to take part in a local community service endeavor as part of the National Roofing Contractors Association’s (NRCA) National Roofing Week, Community Service Day. The team’s goal was to help clean up the planet by taking the time to pick up trash and debris along the roads near the local offices.

Sika's first Sustainable Packaging Challenge for North America launched in March 2023 with the goal of working with current and potential suppliers to find innovative sustainable packaging solutions that can help Sika achieve its sustainability goals. The North American challenge included five different packaging solutions: Corrugated boxes, valve bags, plastic cartridges, plastic buckets, and tinplate buckets.
