Sarnaplate Low Profile is a specially-designed square stress plate

Sarnaplate Low Profile is a specially-designed square stress plate used with #12, #14 and #15 Sarnafasteners to attach Sarnatherm® insulation, Sarnatherm® roof boards, gypsum roof boards, or other Sika approved boards directly to the roof deck prior to the installation of Sarnafil® adhered roof system. Sarnaplate Low Profile is not recommended for use directly over a plywood or OSB surface.

  • Minimize telegraphing through the membrane.
  • The low profile surface also increases bonding around the plate.

APPLICATION

Sarnaplate Low Profile is positioned on the surface of the insulation or roof board, a Sarnafastener is set through the center of it and fastened into the roof deck. Sarnaplate Low Profile clamps the insulation board or roof board in place. NOTE: Care must be taken when installing over roof boards to ensure plate sits flush with roof board.
