Do not break the seal until SikaCem®-191 CS Cutter is ready for use. Maintain unused SikaCem®-191 CS Cutter in the original container. Store in a well-ventilated, cool, dry location and maintain temperatures between 40-100°F (4.4-37.8°C). Do not freeze.

Concrete refinement is a process requiring the use of three separate products that include SikaCem®-191 CS Cutter, SikaCem®-192 CS Densifier, and SikaCem®-193 CS Guard. The products must be used together to attain the desired results. SikaCem®-191 CS Cutter is designed for use during the initial grinding/cutting stage of concrete refinement.

Equipment Guidelines:

There is no need to mix this material. Do Not Reduce.

1. Wet the concrete surface with SikaCem®-191 CS Cutter. Keep the surface wet for a minimum of 30 minutes. You may use a medium bristle broom or an auto scrubber with brushes to break the surface tension.
     
   Note: When using the auto scrubber, do not use a squeegee.
   • For more aggressive grinding, it is advised to saturate the concrete with SikaCem®-191 CS Cutter for as long as possible. Saturating the concrete for 6 to 8 hours is not excessive. SikaCem®-191 CS Cutter may be applied and left overnight.
2. Grind the concrete surface while it is wet with SikaCem®-191 CS Cutter.
   • All cutting prior to application of the SikaCem®-192 CS Densifier is done wet.
3. Squeegee the excess slurry from the surface.
4. Cleaning is required between each grit. It is not necessary to add more SikaCem®-191 CS Cutter.
5. Continue cutting wet until the desired Roughness Average (Ra) value of the surface is reached. Follow surface texture guidelines through the process before moving to the next successive grit.

Clean sprayers with warm soapy water following use.
