Introducing the Next Generation of Vehicle Glass Replacement Adhesives

Madison Heights, MI, USA - Sika Corporation, the leading supplier of innovative adhesive and sealant solutions for the automotive and commercial vehicle aftermarket, is proud to announce the introduction of two new groundbreaking adhesive systems for vehicle glass replacement applications; SikaTack® ELITE and Sikaflex®-268 PowerCure.

SikaTack® ELITE and Sikaflex®-268 PowerCure are accelerated polyurethane-based adhesive systems. Engineered using Sika’s innovative PowerCure technology, these products are designed to combine the fast curing advantages of a two-component system with the simplicity and ease-of-use of a one-component product.
Developed especially for the Auto Glass Replacement (AGR) industry, SikaTack® ELITE cures rapidly to achieve a 30 minute Minimum Drive-Away Time (MDAT) and reinforces car bodies to the level of a new vehicle in just one hour. This 60 minute OEM Level Cure sets a new performance standard for AGR adhesives, allowing technicians to provide vehicle owners with the safest windshield replacement service available.

Sikaflex®-268 PowerCure is ideal for large vehicle and equipment glass replacement applications, including RVs, heavy trucks, and agricultural or construction equipment. The product provides fast adhesion, curing, and strength build-up to allow vehicles and equipment to return-to-service in as little as four hours.

SikaTack® ELITE is packaged in 400 ml unipacks and is applied using the 400 ml PowerCure Dispenser.  Sikaflex®-268 PowerCure is packaged in 600 ml unipacks and is applied using the 600 ml PowerCure Dispenser.
