HOW DID SIKA EMPLOYEES CELEBRATE EARTH DAY THIS YEAR?
At Sika, we believe everyone can make a difference—and Earth Day is the perfect reminder that small actions lead to a big impact. Across our sites, employees came together to give back to the planet, support local environments, and show what sustainability in action looks like. Here's how a few of our teams celebrated this year:
Lyndhurst, NJ
On Tuesday, April 22, nineteen volunteers from Sika’s Rutherford and Lyndhurst offices took part in an Earth Day Park cleanup at the Englewood Cliffs, NJ Picnic Area within Palisades Interstate Park, NJ. The group dedicated their morning to preparing the park for the upcoming summer season, collecting litter, and tidying up the area.
CANTON, MA
More than twenty employees from the Canton office rolled up their sleeves for an Earth Day beautification effort! The team picked up trash along the perimeter of the warehouse and planted colorful flowers around the flagpole, adding a bright, welcoming touch to the space.
SHAKOPEE, MN
A perfect sunny afternoon set the stage for a productive Earth Day cleanup! The team cleared brush, pulled weeds, and tidied up the garden plot out back. Next up: turning another garden into a vibrant butterfly habitat!
SCRANTON, PA
Nine dedicated volunteers pitched in to revitalize our facility and the surrounding neighborhood. The team planted trees, picked up trash, and even painted and waterproofed a damaged exterior wall, bringing fresh life to our historic space.
GRANDVIEW, MO
Seven members of the management team rolled up their sleeves for a cleanup at Grandview, tackling litter around the pond, wooded areas, roadside, and the plant itself.
CHINO, CA
The Chino team celebrated Earth Day with a mix of fun, food, and plants! Upstairs, the office crew enjoyed bagels and planted take-home plants, while the production team hosted a fruit and veggie share and came together for a delicious lunch.
