The Engineer of Record used Sikalastic® RoofPro around the University on past projects with such success and high-quality installations, they reached out to Sika® once again to see if RoofPro could meet the challenge. The gutters on one of the buildings needed repairs, and the best access to the gutters was by a cherry picker. Sikalastic®-641 Lo-VOC was chosen for its mobility and versatility. Sikalastic RoofPro products come in 5-gal pails or 50-gal drums for Sikalastic 644 and 641 Lo-VOC resins and can be applied in tight or hard-to-access places. Our resins can waterproof multiple substrates, including the metal and EPDM on this project. The EPDM was first repaired with patches of new EPDM, but thiscreated many seams within the gutter. Sikalastic® RoofPro systems are cold liquid applied and cure to a seamless, fully reinforced waterproofing system.

PROJECT SOLUTION
The hard to access location of the gutters of this University building are now leak free and seamless with a 20-year warranty. Sikalastic® RoofPro is easy to use and mobile in its' 5-gal pails, no mixing required.
