Leaders in Sustainability
Sustainable practices meet the needs of the present with an eye to the needs of future generations. Before the terms “sustainable” and “green” were commonplace, Sika had been designing products that perform to the highest standards, and are still performing after decades of service.
Building owners, designers and contractors involved in the construction of commercial buildings are increasingly aware of the need to invest in “sustainable” building practices — practices that are environmentally responsible and deliver a positive Return on Investment (ROI).

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is the world’s largest developer and publisher of International Standards. Successful registration to the ISO 14001:2015 standard means that an organization has met specific environmental management system standards. ISO is a network of the national standards of 162 countries, forming a bridge between the public and private sectors so that a consensus can be reached on solutions that meet both the requirements of business and the broader needs of society.
ISO 14001 companies work toward no accidents, injuries or harm to the environment through a management system that helps them meet legal requirements, achieve their own targets and goals, and address stakeholder concerns. Working with community advisory panels and other public forums, they communicate with neighbors and the public about their operations and progress, with a focus on reducing risks while improving efficiency by integrating environmental, health, safety and security performance.
