Innovation, Performance and Aesthetics

Unlike mechanically-attached roofing systems where the membrane is secured to the system using fasteners, adhered roofing systems secure the membrane to the system using adhesive.  The Sarnafil Self-Adhered System utilizes the Sarnafil G 410 SA or G 410 SA Feltback membrane which has a pressure sensitive adhesive layer added to the back during production. These innovative membranes provide all of the benefits of Sika's Sarnafil adhered roofing systems without the hassle and mess of liquid adhesives.  Improve your installation productivity and eliminate adhesive fumes and VOC’s from your next project!

Below are some of the reasons why a Sarnafil Self-Adhered System might be the best fit for your project.

Sarnafil Self-Adhered Feltback Membrane

Sarnafil Self-Adhered Feltback Membrane is the roofing industry’s first peel-and-stick PVC feltback membrane. Sarnafil SA Feltback can be used on both low-slope and steep-slope applications such as the Sarnafil Décor Roof System, the industry’s first standing seam metal roof look-a-like single-ply system. Boasting the same environmentally friendly and easy-to-use benefits, using Sarnafil SA Feltback on steep slope décor systems means eliminating the hassle and danger of using buckets of glue on a pitched roof. No more, up and down each slope multiple times coating the substrate twice before unrolling the membrane. Just peel the release liner and roll it out. Improve productivity and safety on all future steep-slope applications.

Self- Adhered Wall Flashing Completes the System

Sarnafil Self-Adhered Wall Flashing is the roofing industry's first PVC peel-and-stick wall flashing option.  With the introduction of Sarnafil SA Wall Flashing, Sika Sarnafil becomes the first manufacturer to offer a complete self-adhered PVC roof system eliminating the need for liquid adhesives for wall flashings. SA Wall Flashing is only available in bareback.

Wall Flashing Not Just For SA Projects

Boasting the same benefits as the Sarnafil G 410 SA field membrane, Sarnafil SA Wall Flashing can also be installed on any Sika Sarnafil roof system (adhered, mechanically-attached or RhinoBond) and with Sikaplan membrane...not just on Sarnafil self-adhered systems.

Sarnafil SA Wall Flashing provides all of the benefits of a liquid adhesive flashing application minus the harsh VOCs or odors. In addition, the Self-Adhered Wall Flashing increases productivity without the hassle and mess of liquid adhesives.
