Vapor Retarder Adhesive CA SB is a cold applied, solvent-based asphalt cutback adhesive

Vapor Retarder Adhesive CA SB is a cold applied, solvent-based asphalt cutback adhesive used to adhere Sika’s vapor retarders that are typically adhered with hot asphalt within Sarnafil® and Sikaplan® roofing systems. It is used in applications where hot asphalt is not advised and/or not permitted.

Storage Conditions

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Surfaces should be clean, dry, free of dirt, dust, debris, oils and other contaminants.
Prime glass-mat roof boards with Vapor Retarder Primer TA prior to the application of Vapor Retarder Adhesive CA SB. Priming is optional when using coated glass-mat roof boards.

APPLICATION

Apply Vapor Retarder Adhesive CA SB with a ¼" (4.8 mm) notched neoprene squeegee or trowel.
