S-Welding cord PVC

PVC flexible welding cord for Sarnabar or Sarnastop perimeter fastening

Sarnacord PVC is a flexible thermoplastic which is hot-air welded to the top of the Sarnafil and Sikaplan PVC membranes and against the side of the Sarnabar or Sarnastop when the Sarnabar or Sarnastop is used at the base of walls and curbs.

  • Hot-air weldable
  • Retains the Sarnafil membrane in position

Usage

To prevent tearing of the Sarnafil or Sikaplan membrane against the side of a Sarnabar or Sarnastop.

Application steps

APPLICATION

By use of a hand-held hot-air welder and a specialized nozzle tip, Sarnacord - PVC is hot-air welded to Sarnafil membrane on the detail side of the bar. Sarnacord - PVC is used with Sarnabar or Sarnastop at the base of walls, curbs, vent stacks, etc. in accordance with Sika Sarnafil's Detail Drawings.
