Application
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Close the Sarnacol 2175 canister valve by turning the valve clockwise.
Press the spray gun trigger to dispense the residual adhesive into a suitable waste container and relieve pressure from the spray hose.
Slowly disconnect the spray hose from the Sarnacol 2175 canister using an adjustable wrench. Allow any remaining pressure to vent before removing the spray hose. Wipe any residual wet adhesive with shop towels before it dries.
Remove the protective cap from the Sarnacol 2175 Cleaner canister outlet and immediately connect the spray hose to the outlet to prevent the adhesive from drying in the spray hose. Tighten the connection with an adjustable wrench. Use caution not to strip threads or overtighten the connection.
Make sure the adjustment wheel behind the spray gun trigger is closed to prevent accidental spray.
Slowly turn the Sarnacol 2175 Cleaner valve counterclockwise to open. Check for any leaks.
Turn the adjustment wheel behind the spray gun trigger to the open position and spray the cleaner into a designated solvent containment vessel or waste bin. Press the spray gun trigger repeatedly if the spray gun trigger is sticking.
Run the cleaner through the hose and spray gun until the cleaner runs clear.
If necessary, allow the spray gun and spray hose to remain under pressure to dissolve any remaining adhesive buildup or particulates.
Spray tips can be soaked separately in Sarnacol 2175 Cleaner, MEK Substitute, or acetone. Use a small gauge wire or torch tip cleaning tool to remove clogs.
The spray gun, spray hose and spray tips are ready for future use.
