Sikaplan® Termination Bar

Extruded aluminum bar 

Sikaplan Termination Bar is flat aluminum bar with a 45° lip used with approved fasteners to terminate Sikaplan roofing membranes at walls and roof edges.

  • Convenient punched 1/4" x 3/8" (6.4 mm x 9.5 mm) oval holes spaced 6" (15.2 cm) on center
  • 3/16" (4.8 mm) lip formed to a 45° angle

Usage

To terminate Sikaplan roofing membranes at walls and roof edges. Also used for Sarnafil® and Sikaplan vented roof terminations.      AREAS OF APPLICATION

Application steps

APPLICATION

Install Sikaplan Termination Bar with a 1/4" (6 mm) gap between adjoining bars. Cut Sikaplan Termination Bar at inside and outside corners. Do not bend around corners. Fasten Sikaplan Termination Bar with approved fasteners 12" (30.5 cm) on center and within 1" (25 mm) of each bar end. Refer to specific Sikaplan and vented roof detail drawings.
