Up to 12 months in the original unopened pail when properly stored, sealed and unmixed.

Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry, ventilated area away from heat and oxidizing agent. Do not store in direct sunlight or in temperatures below 55°F (13°C) or above 80°F (27°C). Keep away from open fire, flame or any ignition source.

  APPROXIMATE COVERAGE RATES

All values are nominal. Coverage rates may vary depending on substrate conditions and the application technique. Wet and dry thicknesses are always equivalent.

Grind concrete and masonry surfaces with diamond cut wheel to remove laitance and/or contaminants. All concrete and wooden surfaces shall be clean, dry, free of dirt, dust, debris, loose particles, loose paint, rust and other contaminants.

If a gap of more than 1/4" (6.3 mm) exists between edge of horizontal membrane surface and vertical transition surface, the gap must be filled with approved sealant.

Thoroughly stir the entire container of Liquid resin with a slow-speed (200 to 400 rpm) mechanical mixer (electric drill with a mixing blade) for two to three minutes before each use, and prior to pouring off resin into a second container if batch mixing. Only catalyze the amount of material that can be used within 10 to 15 minutes. Add pre-measured Catalyst Powder to the resin component and stir for 2 minutes. The amount of catalyst required is determined by resin weight and ambient temperature

After mixing Sikalastic® Rapid Catalyst, apply Sikalastic® Rapid Primer to substrate at the required consumption using a 3/8 in nap roller or brush. The resin should be applied evenly onto the surface using care not to spread too thin or pool in low areas.
