Double-sided acrylic adhesive with removable polyolefin liner

Store rolls standing on end on pallets and fully protected from the weather.  Store at temperatures between 41°F - 86°F (5°C - 30°C).  Limit exposure to direct sunlight.  Do not expose to moisture and/or extreme humidity while stored.

All surfaces must be clean, sound, dry, and free of loose materials and laitance, or contaminants such as water, frost, ice, oil and grease that would interfere with the adhesion of the product.

  
In accordance with the ICRI Technical Guideline No. 310.2R-2013, concrete surfaces must be finished to meet a concrete surface profile (CSP) of 1 to 4.

  
Concrete block joints must be flush with the face of the concrete block.

For parapet walls, use the 36” (91.5 cm) wide roll. Lay the roll on side at the base of the wall with the adhesive side toward the wall. Pull the adhesive film up to the top of the wall and over the nailer as required.  Press and smooth the adhesive into place by hand and create the continuous bond to the substrate. Butt all side laps (do not overlap). Cut the roll at the base of the wall.

  
For curbs, use the 12” (30.5 cm) wide roll. Apply the adhesive to the substrate by holding the roll and wrap the adhesive film around all sides of the curb. Cut the roll to butt the adhesive with the  beginning edge (do not overlap). Press and smooth the adhesive into place by hand and create the continuous bond to the substrate.  

  
Measure and cut the Sarnafil or Sikaplan bareback flashing membrane to extend 5” (12.7 cm) past the base angle attachment at the wall or curb and 3” (7.6 cm) to accommodate vertical overlaps. Remove the release liner, install the Sarnafil or Sikaplan barebacked membrane into the adhesive without wrinkles. Press the flashing membrane onto the adhesive using a neoprene hand roller or linoleum roller. Properly dispose of the release liner. Hot air weld the flashing membrane overlaps.

  
For Sarnatred-V walkway, use the 36” (91.5 cm) wide roll of adhesive leaving approximately 1.5" (3.8 cm) for welding the walkway along each edge. Chalk lines on the surface of the roofing system to indicate the location of the adhesive. Install the adhesive directly from the roll or in pre-cut sections.

  
Remove the release liner from the adhesive just before applying the Sarnatred-V walkway. Center the walkway over the adhesive leaving enough space around the perimeter of the walkway to hot air weld the walkway to the roof membrane. Smooth out any wrinkles and roll the entire surface of the walkway with a minimum 75 lb (34 kg) steel roller. Properly dispose of the release liner. Hot air weld the entire perimeter of the walkway to the roofing system.
