New Sikaplan Accessories Round Out Product Line

Sika Roofing is pleased to announce the addition of several Sikaplan accessory products. These Sikaplan accessory products will allow Sikaplan applicators to be more competitive while delivering quality Sikaplan roof system installations to building owners. Sikaplan accessory products are intended for use only with Sikaplan roof systems and are not to be used within Sarnafil roof systems.

Sikaplan Board Fastener #12 is a threaded drill point fastener used within Sikaplan roof systems to attach Sarnatherm insulation, Sarnatherm roof boards, gypsum roof boards, or other Sika approved boards into steel decking (18-24 gauge), wood plank (min. 1-1/2”), or wood sheathing (>15/32”).

Sikaplan Fastener #14 is a threaded drill point fastener used within Sikaplan roof systems to attach Sikaplan Fastened Membrane or Sarnatherm insulation, Sarnatherm roof boards, gypsum roof boards, or other Sika approved boards into structural concrete (140-150 lb/ft), wood plank (min. 1-1/2”), or wood sheathing (>15/32”).

Sikaplan Fastener #15 is a threaded drill point fastener used within Sikaplan roof systems to attach Sikaplan Fastened or Sarnatherm insulation, Sarnatherm roof boards, gypsum roof boards, or other Sika approved boards into steel decking (18-24 gauge), wood plank (min. 1-1/2”), or wood sheathing (>15/32”).

Sikaplan Board Plate is used with Sikaplan fasteners to attach Sarnatherm insulation, Sarnatherm roof boards, gypsum roof boards, or other Sika approved boards directly to the roof deck prior to the installation of the Sikaplan Fastened or Sikaplan Adhered roof membrane.

Sikaplan Disc is a round steel plate with eyehooks, used with Sikaplan fasteners to in-seam attach Sikaplan Fastened membrane to approved roof decks. The eyehooks grip the membrane without initiating tears.

In addition, Sika Roofing is pleased to offer two fanfold roofing underlayment options for Sikaplan roof systems - R-Tech FF and ThermalStar LRi. These premium fanfold roofing underlayments are ideal for recover applications with the Sikaplan Fastened roof system. Both products are ½ inch thick, 20 psi and are packaged in 4’ x 50’ bundles for easy handling and quick installation.
