Sika Adds Two-Component Cold-Applied Resins to Roofing and Waterproofing Product Line

Areas of application for these products are targeting, chemical secondary containment & cooling tower areas, exposed roofing, and buried/protected systems.

Part Details:

Sikalastic®-701 SF - is a 2-component, cold applied, high performance, self-smoothing, low odor, polyaspartic top coat for Sika Liquid Applied Membrane roofing/waterproofing systems. It contains 100 % solids, and the VOC content is ~3.86 g/l. It is used over a reinforced or unreinforced Sikalastic 702 base.

Sikalastic®-702 - is a 2-component, cold applied, self-smoothing, elastic, polyurea based liquid roofing/ waterproofing membrane, reinforced or unreinforced. It can be used as a base for Sikalastic 701 SF.

Sikalastic®-702 THX – is a 2-component, cold applied, elastic, thixotropic, manually applied, polyurea based liquid applied membrane for roofing/waterproofing detail & vertical work, reinforced or unreinforced. It can be used as a base for Sikalastic 701 SF.

Synergy Reinforcing Mesh– a balanced, open-weave glass fiber mesh – twisted multi-end strand, treated, reinforcement. This is the reinforcement for Sikalastic 702 or 702 THX.

Availability:

Sikalastic 2-component cold applied liquid resins are available to order. Standard ordering procedures apply. Imported and stocked in the US, at times an approximate 8 week lead time may apply.

Warranty:

Sikalastic 2-component cold applied liquid resins are eligible for up to 20-Year Material or Limited Labor & Material coverage under Sika LAM Warranties. Products have to be purchased through Sika Corporation – Roofing/Waterproofing or through an Authorized Sika Distributor.
